Kentucky or Bust!

After spending three exhausting days with a realtor in Owensboro, we made an offer on a 'For Sale By Owner' house today. To say the least, our realtor is not happy with us! Oh well, our offer was accepted! We are excited/relieved/stressed, but it is good. It is in the neighborhood we wanted, because it has a bunch of kids, goes to what apparently is the best elementary school in the universe, has a pool, tennis and basketball courts, and access to the city greenbelt, which is a walking path that wraps around the whole city and weaves throughout certain developments. It is a nice house, really open, and the four bedrooms are all upstairs. It was lacking the bonus room we really wanted, but we decided it was worth giving up to be in the neighborhood. It also has a great backyard and the street it is on ends in a cul-de-sac.

Yay...congratulations! What a cute house, and it sounds like a great location! Glad everything is falling into place...if I can do ANYTHING to be of assistance, let me know! <3

Looks like a great house...looks like it could be in St. Louis, more of an Eastern style than you would see in Denver, Salt Leke, Idaho Falls or Las Vegas. It also sounds like a great neighborhood.

Looks like you found a great house. It's got to stink to be a realtor sometimes, but I'm glad you found something you really liked. Let us know what life is like in Kentucky!
