Blackmail

Dave Popp was kind enough to send this photo to me. This is just one reason I'd never seek public office.

FINALLY!!

Well, it seems that after years and years and years and years and years (you get the idea!) of meeting idiots and morons in the dating game, I have FINALLY kissed enough frogs to find a prince! Here is a picture of me with Matt and my friend Jori's baby, Olivia. I had a GREAT time with Matt, and I'm planning to go visit him in England in May. Too bad he lives SOOOOO far away, but he's worth the effort of spanning the divide...trust me! More pictures to come later....

Here's a look at a couple pix I shot the other day for Wendy to give to Joyce for her 60th.

Pinewood Derby Princess...Bedazzled!

The youth in our Ward hosted a fundraising dinner last night to help with Girls Camp and Scout Camp. Included in the festivities was a no-holds-barred Pinewood Derby Race. Our entry(nicknamed "Bedazzled") was a hit - thanks to the amazing decorating skills of Valerie, Riley and Macie; - and even managed to pull off a few wins!

"Bedazzled" in all her glory.

We won a ribbon for the "brightest" car. Macie and Charlotte were both very upset they weren't allowed to hold the car and ribbon for these pictures.

The Weasel goes to Washington

The Weasel will probably agree that the assignments we shot on Monday were better than the day she and Bubba came with me to shoot a dead man discovered on the highway shoulder or the pedestrian wrapped around the grille of a truck. Good times.

Here are a couple pix that the Weasel and I snapped while she rode shotgun with me to work on Monday. She was out of work and decided that riding along with her old man was better than sitting home on the couch. We met a woman with one leg that ski races, hikes, plays volleyball, jogs and generally kicks butt...with only her left foot of course. We also attended a rally to try and keep the Salt Lake redevelopment agency from evicting low-income residents of a downtown hotel so that the building can be turned into high-priced condos. We shot a protest by a group of very narrow-minded individuals who want to pass legislation that would fund a program that exported gay people from Utah. The gay individuals get to pick the state they're exported to. How kind. It turned out to be a sick joke. Not funny.

Hope everyone's healthy and happy. Todd, squeeze Feckles, Mouse and Chuck for my. Scott, squeeze the Duck, the Goose and Ms. Daphne for me.

Adios

Passed Down From One Generation to the Next...

Playing library with new books.
Macie is checking out "Chew-ee Woo-ee" while Riley carefully scans each book under the table.

Super Cute

I never took pics of the girls in their dresses when we had 9:00 church. It is my new goal to document them on Sundays...since it really is the only day all three of them end up dressed with their hair done :)
This is Charlotte's first 'do with straight hair. I can't get over how old she looks! Todd was being silly, trying to get them to laugh. It worked. These dresses were purchased on the cruise while we were in Haiti. I was not a good bargainer and we paid too much. I now feel good about it and consider it a donation to the earthquake victims.

Basketball

Here are some pictures from Riley's basketball season. We were a perfect 0-7, but as you can tell the girls always had smiles on their faces.

The starting 5 at our last game.

The team at our pizza party.

They were always very attentive when I was talking.

Riley got much better throughout the season.
Dad reading to Charlotte and Macie before church.

So cute.
