December 27th

It was 70 degrees two days after Christmas when it had been in the 30's. It was glorious! We enjoyed washing the cars, not bundling up, riding bikes, and, yes, even playing in the sprinkler! The boys were even asking for lemonade like it was a summer day. It's back in the 40's this week, which we're not complaining about. 40 is warmer than 9!

Happy New Year!

Planes, Trains and Automobiles...

Merry Christmas! Here are some pictures of the 25th in Pittsburgh. The boys are very happy with what was in Santa's bag. It was the year of the train for Felix and the year of the Jeep for Rex. (They each got an airplane that shoots in the air, too...so the blog title is accurate.) They also enjoy shooting everything and everyone with their Nerf dart guns. Plus, we plan on putting on some really great puppet shows in the near future. (Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!) Scott is obsessing over his Rubik's Cube...(not sure if a "thank you" is in order this time, Grandma and Grandpa!) We'll post a picture if he figures it out...I'm sure he'd correct me and say "when" he figures it out. We can only hope he does soon, so keep him in your prayers.

Enjoy the rest of your Holiday! We miss you!!

Christmas In Idaho Falls

The Idaho Falls Johnson's had a very merry Christmas! The girls were extra excited this year and it was fun to see their reaction when they saw what Santa had brought. We bought a Leapster for Macie to avoid further fighting over Riley's Leapster and surprise, surprise they still found something to fight over. It was nice to spend time with family and we didn't have to worry about a white Christmas as it snowed at least 2-3 inches today - adding to the foot already on the ground. We hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas. (I tried putting up a funny video of Macie and Riley dancing with their High School Musical Microphones, but our internet connection is lousy and keeps dying - I'll try again tomorrow.)

SLC Trip

We went to Salt Lake City over the weekend to go to the BYU v. USU B-Ball game at EnergySolutions Arena and to see the lights at Temple Square. Unfortunately the Aggies lost by 5. Valerie and I sat courtside for the game c/o Melaleuca. We were also able to visit Keith, the girls and Janet. It was great spending time with everyone, even though it was a short trip!

Riley Turns The Big 05!

I just realized that we never posted any pictures of Riley's wild pajama birthday party. Enjoy!

JFR

Any updates on the family reunion? When, exactly, is it?
I can only imagine how crazy life is for the Pittsburgh Johnsons right now. Being in a bishopric is one thing...being BISHOP is another! Hope all is well.

See-Food

We had a family outing last week to the Walking with Dinosaurs show that is touring around the country. It consists of life size and life like robotic dinosaurs with which they reproduce their believed behaviors. It was really fun, and the boys loved it. I highly recommend it if you're into dinosaurs. Here are some pictures.
