Fun with Photobucket

We were online ordering some prints and decided to mess with some of the Photobucket features.  This is what we came up with.  Feel free to edit some of your own.

Dying for a vacation.

Here are a few more of my "vacation" photos. Picture a couple hundred zombies walking around downtown SLC on a Sunday evening, scaring the pants off unsuspecting visitors/tourists. Worth every second.

This little piggy.....

I took a week off work to decompress from my 8 weeks flying solo while Jeremy took paternity leave. Here are a few photos illustrating how I'm spending my week. The first pictures are from the pig wrestling event at the Utah County Fair. I was telling Maggie some of the wraslin' team names. Try to guess which name goes with each picture. Albert Einswines, Pearls Before Swine, Slaughtermelons, Pig and Dales, Baconators, Magically Piglicious and Dirty Devils. Also not pictured were the BLT's, Three Little Pigs, Pigtails, Big Bad Wolves and the Frankenswines. I need my brothers out here next year. We can definitely win. Any names for our team?

KY kids with Jimmy and Karen at Liberty Park

Here are a bunch of photos from Liberty Park when mom and dad and the KY crew were all in town. Here is the rundown. Karen wasn't watching Carver from the ground on purpose. Weasel never looks at the camera. Riley is the QUEEN of photo-bombing. Riley did, in fact, get that Oreo from her forehead to her mouth without using her hands. Mucho facial contorting. I wish I had more photos of Carver doing his runway model poses. He's destined for NYC/Paris/Milan. Charlotte climbs like a chimp. Macie and the Weasel are the best tandem swing team West of the Mississippi.

Empty Fridge

With Margie and the kids gone and no car for most of the last four weeks, I've slowly been emptying our fridge until it's reached the pretty pathetic state pictured  here.

Needless to say, I'll be happy to have them home again soon.

Lake Windwing

As most of you have heard by now, our Connecticut days are coming to an end shortly. The last several months have been filled with many hights and lows, so it's with mixed feelings that we prepare to move on to the next chapter of our life.

One of the things I will miss about where we live here is the little lake near our house.  It's taken me too long properly to appreciate its virtues, but especially with Margie and the kids gone, I've found great peace from taking almost nightly 20-30 minute walks around the lake in the cool summer evenings.

It's come to hold such a special place in my heart and to represent the best of our experience in such an important way that I decided to make it the subject of the watercolor painting I won from an artist in our Ward at our YM/YW's silent auction back in March.  On my nightly walk tonight I snapped a few pictures to provide to the artist to use as inspiration for the watercolor.
