Riley Hoops, Chicken Fried Steak and Carver

These are videos of Riley scoring today. She had 8 of the team's 14 points.

After the game today.

This was my second try with chicken fried steak. I'm working on finding the perfect recipe.

Carver is becoming more and more mobile and is still as smiley as ever.

Todd-- Your Great-grandfather Johnson was a pro at Chicken Fried Steak. Libby told me that you have to pound the steak very thin to be a success.

Loved Riley, she is good at dribbling, maybe one day it will be Riley Johnson mania in Utah or Kentucky.

Janet - Thankfully the guy we get our beef from thinly cuts and tenderizes the steaks so we don't have to worry about that. I've just noticed there are 500 different ways to do the batter. My last try included buttermilk and the crispy shell was almost too thick.
