Johnson Reunion Activities

Until “Jimmysyme” the blogger gets going, Maggie will be the relayer of reunion information.

Aug. 8th is less than 2 months away and so we need to start making plans. I’ve made some phone calls and have some ideas for you to think about. These are the things that I think would work best for our group: If we spend one day in Jackson Hole, the Lewis and Clark River Expeditions offer a scenic trip, at 2:15 and a whitewater trip at 2:30. They end about the same time and there would be something for everyone. Their prices were also the most reasonable. There is an age limit of 3, but Grandma and Grandpa are willing to stay with the younger ones. For more information, go to: www.lewisandclarkexpeds.com.

We also thought it would be fun to see the Bar J Wranglers that night (our treat). They have a chuck wagon dinner and “cowboy” entertainment. Their website is www.barjchuckwagon.com/wranglers. We should probably make our reservation for these activities by July 1.

Closer to Afton, where we are staying there is swimming, golf, and tennis. Horseback riding is also available for $20/hr.

Let us know what you would like to do. We are getting excited, and hope you are too.

Oh boy, more info about Lewis and Clark. Now I can get another perspective. I don't think I am quite up to White Water Rafting.
