Every week the Trib does a "Look back" gallery where we take photos from our archives and post them on the website. This week features bands. Of particular interest is the photo attached. Read the idents of the member, there sure are a lot of Johnsons in there, but I'm doubting we had Utah ties in the late 1800's. Maybe I'm wrong. Also read the letter attached to the band photo written in 1947 where the author basically begs that the photo be returned to her. We are actually trying to track the family down to return it. Pretty interesting. I hope everyone is well. Hearts.

Thanks for the post, KJ. Love these old photos! Although many of the given names are the same, I don't think we are related. If this had been an Ohio Johnson's band, I'd do some serious investigating.
