Here are a few pictures from Riley's 7th Birthday. She opened presents when Grandma and Grandpa were here, then she got a gift for the whole family - a basketball hoop for the backyard, so on the actual day we weren't planning much; then she had a sad meltdown a few days before her birthday about missing her "real" friends in Idaho. Of course, it broke our hearts, so we had to plan more for the big day. Todd took her out to breakfast at the Waffle House before school on Monday, then, when she got home, I took her to get a pedicure. She was sooo excited! She loved every minute of it. She even insisted on wearing flip-flops to school the next day to show them off. It was cold and pouring, but that didn't stop her!

You will have to have Grandma document this but I seem to remember that Amy was about this age when she declared that she thought your parents OWED you a birthday party. Must be hereditary.
