Daddy-Daughter Date Night

I took the girls to the Chic-fil-A sponsored daddy-daughter event tonight. We did this last year and the girls loved it so we thought we would try it again. We once again had a great time. Besides the good food and ice cream cones, we took a horse-drawn carriage ride, colored and made bead jewelry. What more could one ask for? I think I’m a pretty lucky dad!

I realize flowers aren't too exciting, but I'm grateful the previous owners planted them so we can enjoy them.

Look-a-Like

This pianist often makes an appearance on our Sunday Pandora station and when her songs come on we always say, "Grandma's playing us a song again."

Anyone who thinks C.T. is scary will now embrace him as a cuddly teddy bear after seeing this picture of the original Ronald McDonald. McCREEPY! Look for the early commercials featuring Ronald McMurder. You'll be traumatized. If you don't get a chance to see it, I'll give you a recap: Never accept hamburgers from anybody's pants....ESPECIALLY from an unfamiliar clown with a Dixie cup nose. Sound advice if you ask me.

Litlle man needs a sandwich

There's nothing better than bathing a baby. When I go see Bubba, I insist she let me scrub the boy. He LOVES being up to his neck in warm water. He stretches out like he's soaking in a hot tub. His skinny legs and arms crack me up. This boy needs to hit the gym to pump up his muscles.

Softball Champs 2012

Riley's softball team finished the season undefeated and in the process won both the regular season and tournament championship.

Pappy's boy

Here's the boy all dressed up and nowhere to go. I swear he looks just like me minus hair, a horse-face, beard and unibrow. Other than that, he's a spittin image of his gpa. (I prefer to be called Pappy, it makes me sound like a crusty sailor and soccer hooligan).

Finally, a Wesley post! It's about d!#n time. I am making the disclaimer ahead of time that there is some blood and after-birth in a few of the photos. Enter at your own risk!

Bubba did an amazing job. She was a trooper for the 12 hours that she waited to actually start pushing, and didn't complain a bit when it was in her hands. I'm super proud of her. She will be a great mom, and Julian will be a great dad. They really are a great pair.

So, enjoy. I will snap some formal portraits of the boy when he and Bubba get settled at home.

Hello, it's been a while...

It's been a while since we've posted.  Computer died, too lazy to take pictures, too exhausted to get on the computer are a few reasons that top the reason list.
