You've got to get one of these!
We succumbed to an infomercial and have never been happier. The Swivel Sweeper is rocking our world. Felix has often come to us on a Saturday morning quoting verbatim the many marvelous features of the Swivel Sweeper, so I finally decided to purchase one (actually, because I ordered, "Now" I got 2 for the price of one!) and the boys have never been happier to clean. They even woke up extra early Tuesday morning in anticipation of the batteries being fully charged. And, I caught Felix sneaking out of bed last night to put the Swivel Sweeper battery into the charger so it would be ready to go in the morning. After using it, Felix said, "It's even cooler than the man said on TV!" and Rex said, "Too bad that old stinkin' vacuum doesn't open on the bottom." (like the SS) So, if you're looking for a way to make your kids excited about cleaning...Order Now!
(And if anyone has seen an infomercial that tells you how to keep clothes on your kids, let us know.)

Lagoon with Keef and the Girls
Here are some pictures from the Lagoon trip. We had a blast. Riley rode all the big rides, Macie loved kiddie-land, and Charlotte rode the merry-go-round about ten times. Kacie and Jamie were great and held Carver the entire day! Keith made a special friend, Jenifer, and we all had fun just being together. We also got to have breakfast with Maggie and Amy, but my camera had run out of battery. I am hoping they will post some of the pictures, because I know there were some great ones!

Kentucky or Bust!
After spending three exhausting days with a realtor in Owensboro, we made an offer on a 'For Sale By Owner' house today. To say the least, our realtor is not happy with us! Oh well, our offer was accepted! We are excited/relieved/stressed, but it is good. It is in the neighborhood we wanted, because it has a bunch of kids, goes to what apparently is the best elementary school in the universe, has a pool, tennis and basketball courts, and access to the city greenbelt, which is a walking path that wraps around the whole city and weaves throughout certain developments. It is a nice house, really open, and the four bedrooms are all upstairs. It was lacking the bonus room we really wanted, but we decided it was worth giving up to be in the neighborhood. It also has a great backyard and the street it is on ends in a cul-de-sac.

My fabulous trip!
I just got back from my trip to the UK on Sunday. I had a great time, spending time with Matt, meeting his girls, and seeing some new parts of the world...saw so many beautiful places and cool things! Of course it would be impossible to share everything, so here are a few highlights! (P.S. The pictures are in reverse order...Blogger was giving me trouble!)
Stonehenge
At Build-A-Bear with Matt's girls, Hannah and Myah...this was my birthday surprise for them (they were both born in June)
At the London Temple...the grounds there are BEAUTIFUL!
At the Royal Pavilion in Brighton
On the lion in Trafalgar Square...had to have Matt give me a boost up, AND it was hot!
A famous red phone booth...I was a little hesitant about actually touching the phone!
At Buckingham Palace
In Cambridge, in front of the River Cam
Matt and I with Edinburgh Castle in the background
Me (with crazy hair) in Edinburgh...such a cool city!
Matt eating his haggis...he really liked it! I tried one bite, and it was tasty, but I couldn't get over the thought of what's in it...yucky!
At Ullswater Lake in The Lake District...we camped here for one night (about my camping limit!)
At Stourhead Garden...Margie, they filmed some of the new "Pride and Prejudice" here. It was so so so lovely
