Armageddon

This was the actual sunset in SLC Sunday night.  This is the combination of mother nature's splendor  mixed with an incredible amount of manmade pollution.  Inversion does have its benefits.  I may not be able to breathe because of the pollution, but the sunset was breath taking anyway.  It's the same result.  If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

Mid-life Crisis

We went waterskiing on Saturday and Valerie's sister, Morgan, took these pictures of the flip I attempted. I figured I could try this at 31, but definitely not at 32. I think I had a slight concussion the next few days from a few of the spills I took.

Riley's First Day of School

Riley has enjoyed her first three days of Kindergarten. Every day I ask her what she learned and she says, "Guess what dad? We had recess!"

Riley's Loose Tooth

Riley lost her first tooth tonight! She is very excited to have the tooth fairy come tonight. She removed all the "make-up" from her make-up box so she would have somewhere to put the tooth. She even wrote the tooth fairy a note: "Dear tooth fairy my tooth is in the box." Just to avoid any confusion.

She starts kindergarten tomorrow and is quite excited. She met her teacher last week and her best friend in the neighborhood is in her class. I'm sure we will have pictures to share from the big day.

Camping

We went camping near West Yellowstone, MT with Valerie's family last Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We also went into Yellowstone one of those days so there are a few pictures from that excursion.
